  • Freshman/Sophomore: 6-8pm Fieldhouse Courts 1 & 2 (Defense & Offense) 

  • Jr/Sr: 8:30-9:30pm MVP Academy (Defense)
     

• Tuesday, Feb. 28

  • Jr/Sr: 4-5pm Fieldhouse Court 1 (Offense),  5-6pm PWC Turf (Defense)

  • Freshman/Sophomore: 6:30pm-7:30pm MVP Academy (Defense) 
     

• Wednesday, Mar. 1

  • Freshman/Sophomore: 4-6 pm Fieldhouse Courts 1 & 2 (Defense & Offense)

  • Jr/Sr: 6-8pm Fieldhouse Courts 1 & 2 (Defense & Offense) 

Players may be asked to tryout at different times at coaches discretion.

Roster placements will be made on Wednesday, Mar. 1, followed by an all program meeting on Thursday, Mar. 2 at 3:45 p.m.

Head Coach Bio

India Steward

Steward played travel ball for the Illinois Sparks and Beverly Bandits from age 11 to 18. She committed to Western Kentucky University and completed her softball career at Ball State University. While at Ball State, Steward earned a MAC Championship title and competed in the NCAA Regional Tournament. Steward was a member of Ball State’s Dynasty41 team earning the first NCAA Regional victory in program history. In 2016, Steward became an All-American Academic Athlete. After the completion of her undergraduate career, Steward took an interest in coaching. In 2019, she began coaching with Krista Stoker on the 16u Orland Park A’s. While in her first year of coaching, Steward assisted her team to a second place finish at the PGF Platinum Nationals. In 2021, Steward coached the 18u Orland Park A’s with Kyle Hardin. Her team was able to earn their bid to the PGF Premier Nationals, after placing third at the PGF Qualifier. Steward’s team finished in the top ten, placing ninth out of sixty-eight teams from across the country, at the PGF Premier National Tournament. The Orland Park A’s 18u Premier earned three tournament trophies throughout the 2020-2021 season. Steward currently coaches the 13u Beverly Bandits travel ball team with Kyle Hardin.

Steward graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Administration from Ball State University and Master’s Degree in Sport, Fitness, and Recreation from DePaul University.  She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum Studies at DePaul University, with a focus on the implementation of social justice and vocational studies into K-12 school curriculums. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Black Lives Matter. Steward has a true passion for education and working with the next generation of youth. Her goal is to emphasize the importance of education while also teaching students to carry themselves with high ethical standards both on and off their fields of play.  Steward was recently hired full-time as an Athletic Coordinator at
