Sarah Gutierrez
12th Season

Sarah Gutierrez, a 2007 Stevenson High School graduate, was named head coach of her alma mater in 2013. She served as junior varsity coach during the 2012 season, and also has coached several age-group teams within the Lakeshore Lacrosse program since 2007.
Her career record through seven seasons is 91-60. During the past three seasons, her teams have compiled a 48-19 record with one IHSA sectional and two North Suburban Conference championships.
Gutierrez, whose maiden name is Walker, was a two-time all-conference player at Stevenson, and was a starter on the varsity for all four years of high school. She also was a two-time all-conference performer and co-captain at the University of Missouri, from which she graduated in 2011.
Gutierrez is a member of the National Federation of High School Sports’ Girls Lacrosse Rules Committee, and currently serves as president of the Illinois Girls Lacrosse Coaches Association.
