- Be dressed and ready for practice
Important Note
Athletes interested in Track and Field should start the season on Feb. 12. If they want to tryout for another Spring sport, they may do so, but will need to make a choice. An athlete maybe only participate in one sport per season (Fall, Winter or Spring.)

Scott Sommers took over the boys’ track and field program in the Fall of 2024 after being a longtime assistant. Coach Sommers has been a part of the Stevenson cross country/track and field program for nearly twenty years. As the Head Cross Country Coach, he has coached eight state qualifiers. During his time on the track and field staff, the Patriot teams compiled a 142-18 record in dual meets. Sommers also is an assistant coach for the boys track and field team. He teaches Alternative Physical Education at Stevenson.
