Tom Hake, a former all-state player and coach at Glenbrook North High School, was named head boys lacrosse coach at Stevenson in January 2019. He served as an assistant coach at Evanston Township High School in 2018 after four seasons as junior varsity coach at his alma mater.
Hake played three years on the varsity at Glenbrook North, earning second-team Illinois High School Lacrosse Association All-State honors in 2009, his senior season. He also played in the IHSLA Men’s All-Star Game and was a first-team All-Central Suburban League selection in 2009. Hake went on to play at Oberlin College, receiving All-North Coast Atlantic Conference honorable mention in 2010 after scoring 28 of the team’s 120 goals in 13 games.
Hake teaches in the Social Studies Division at Stevenson.
